Southeastern Wildlife Exposition (SEWE pronounced “see-wee”) at Brittlebank Park

SEWE at Charleston’s Brittlebank Park is a ticketed event focused on Dock Dogs. It’s amazing! Most of the day, you will see dogs of all breeds and sizes launching themselves off a platform into a pool. There is also tons of food, upscale outdoor shopping, petting zoo, and demonstrations.

My other favorite SEWE event is at Marion Square.

Local Tips: This can get muddy so wear shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. At the same time, if you feel like getting fancy, even though it is centered around dogs, go for it! Bring out your best camo and animal print. I know, it sounds like an oxymoron…fancy camo…but it’s a thing.
