Take a stroll down Philadelphia Alley in downtown Charleston. A quaint brick and cobblestone alley between Church Street and State Street. You can enter/exit next to 27 Cumberland Street or 20 Queen Street. It is a block away from “The Market” where you will find plenty of shops and restaurants. While many shops are tourist traps…sometimes you need a good t-shirt.

It is great for a quiet walk or when you want to take architectural pictures or portraits. You will find gorgeous brick archways and ivy-covered walls.

Seth G, a great local musician, covered Halsey’s “Without Me” and made a video on Philadelphia Alley.

Take a stroll through the SNOB neighborhood to enjoy the area.

Local tip: You can find free and metered parallel parking all along the streets.
