Get some exercise or take a break at Colonial Lake in Charleston. With a wide sidewalk surrounding the lake, you can take a 0.5 mile walk or run. There are also wildflower gardens and benches and across the street is the Moultrie Playground. Although there isn’t a physical playground set, there are tennis courts, pickleball courts, and a large lawn for playing.

Local tip: This is one of the few parks with public bathrooms, in the parking lot accessible from Broad Street.
